Hi, I’m Aleksandra Oleksak, a Sales Representative for Sage Real Estate, right in the heart of one of the top 2 cities to live in, and welcome to my site. I’m a Torontonian who loves the city and is passionate about its real estate.
But who am I really, professionally and personally? Here’s a glimpse…
The Cool Factor: Synchronized swimmer, avid snowboarder, ultimate home price predictor and lover of poutines, dogs and exclamation marks!!!
The Realtor
Despite having joined the real estate profession 6 years ago – I have over 20 years of experience in growing up in a real estate household. My mother is a tenured real estate professional with over 25 years in the industry. Through our combined experience I have witnessed many deals, negotiations and market conditions and am well trained in addressing varying circumstances.

Ultimate exposure for your home through my tech savy-ness and social media presence to get you YOUR desired price, terms and conditions
The Renovator
My passion for home décor shines through on my blog as well as my love for buying old homes in Toronto, gutting them, redesigning them and selling them. I have completed 5 full-scale renovations as well as assisted my boyfriend on 3. My homes have been featured on Design Sponge, Toronto Life and Houzz. Not only does my renovation experience teach me about project management, delegation, budgeting and risk management, but has also made me better educated about an old home’s structure. I know what to look for and can advise my buyers who are going through the process of buying an old home in Toronto and making them understand the upfront costs associated with it. I’m also able to advise my sellers how to get their homes show ready for potential buyers and because of my knowledge of renovations, which ones add value and which ones don’t. I’m just your regular, female, general contractor!
The Social Media Guru
The world is social – and so am I. I launched my blog 3 years ago and have since managed to develop a strong following. I am an avid blogger and am in tune with the ‘socialsphere’. My ability to stay connected through this virtual channel enables me to realize opportunities that many agents simply do not come by. Specifically, I gain maximum exposure for my Sellers through my blog, Twitter (1,453 followers), Facebook (365 followers), YouTube Channel, Instagram and Pinterest – while allowing Buyers to gain maximum exposure to me and in turn my client’s properties. Being connected helps me realize new technologies, which I can implement in my real estate business and has been the catalyst in allowing me to go virtually paperless.
The Person
Yes, I’m a person too who loves Toronto and enjoys having fun in this great city of ours, you can say I work hard and play harder. I love food, going to the dog park, cottaging, antique shopping, exploring the world, but I’m also a big homebody and easy going. I can be aggressive when the occasion calls for it, can you say real estate negotiating and I just absolutely LOVE my job & thankful I’m doing something I’m passionate about!
If any of this resonates with you, then give me a call, we can talk shop! (real estate, renovations, home décor, food or anything else)
PS. I’m surprised by the limited number of exclamation marks I used in this bio!
