Hey everyone, it’s the Realty Queen and I’m back with my one minute real estate market update this time for the first fourteen days of February. The average selling price in the 416 area for the first 14 days of February was $594,129 which represented a 7.2% price increase when compared to last year. Now our detached homes, semi’s and condo’s also did well and saw price increases of 15.2%, 9.6%, and 5% respectively and of course this is all in compared to last year’s numbers.  So now what does this all mean? It means although we saw an influx of listings hit the market, it still remains a competitive market among buyers, and sellers are cashing in, especially in desirable neighbourhoods such as The Junction Proper, The Junction Triangle, Wallace Emerson, Dovercourt Park just to name a few. So if you own a home in any of these neighbourhoods and are thinking of selling, give me a call and let’s get the ball rolling now. Now if you’re looking for more neighbourhood specific information, I think I got about 47 neighbourhood specific reports I can send to you on a monthly basis. All you have to do is go to www.torontoweststats.com and get yourself on the list. So thanks so much for tuning in, and we’ll see you back here real soon, with another update of course.
